    Mariners are advised that Norrell Lock (No. 1) NM 10.3 will be closed to traffic beginning at 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on July 29th, 2026. The lock closure is required to facilitate concrete repair of the lock parapet wall.

    Mariners are advised that due to a critical construction activity related to the 110 ft. stoplog conversions, the daytime closure at James A. Trimble Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8 will begin at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 29th, 2026.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice 26-23 Lock 1 Intermittent Delays

    Mariners should expect to experience intermittent delays at Norrell Lock (No. 1) NM 10.3 July 13, 2026 – July 17, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The intermittent delays are required to facilitate work on the hydraulic system.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice 26-22 Intermittent Delays (Clinton Presidential Park Bridge NM 118.2)

    Mariners may experience intermittent delays at the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge (NM 118.2). These delays are necessary to facilitate the reconstruction of an upstream bridge pier protection cell. The contractor is expected to begin mobilizing equipment this week with construction beginning in roughly 10 days. The project is expected to take up to six months to complete.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 26-21 Lock Cutoff Times for Towing Configurations

    Mariners are advised that starting June 15th, 2026, and continuing until this Navigation Notice is rescinded, the following lockage cutoff times with corresponding tow configurations will be in place at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.0, Toad Suck Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9, Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9, Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5, Ozark - Jeta Taylor Lock (No. 12) NM 256.8, and James W. Trimble Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 26-20 Caution Advisory NM 291.6 I-49 Bridge

    Mariners are advised that starting June 15th, 2026, bridge construction activities will continue at NM 291.6, downstream of James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13). This work will be on the bridge pier adjacent to the navigation channel on the left descending side.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 26-19 Lock 10 Intermittent Delays

    Mariners may expect to experience intermittent delays at Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 on June 9th, 2026 – June 11th, 2026. Intermittent delays are required to perform a survey of the lock chamber.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 26-18 Lock 07 and 08 Intermittent Delays

    Mariners may experience intermittent delays at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 and Toad Suck Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9 on May 4th, 2026 through June 15th, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily. The intermittent delays are required to facilitate dredging and dive inspections in preparation of the 110’ stoplog conversions
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 26-17 Scheduled Lock Closure (Multiple Locations)

    A partial lock closure is scheduled for James A. Trimble Lock (No.13) NM 292.8, Ozark Jetta-Tayor Lock (No. 12) NM 256.9, Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5, Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9, Toad Suck Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9, and Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 beginning June 15th, 2026, through September 30th, 2026. During this time, the Locks will be closed daily between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Locks will be opened to traffic each night between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., however a 70-ft width restriction will be in place.
