  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 25-72 Lock 10 Intermittent Delays

    Mariners should expect to experience intermittent delays at Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 on October 27th, 2025 – October 30th, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The intermittent delays are required to facilitate concrete repairs to the lock walls.

    Mariners are advised that the partial lock closure at Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 has been extended through October 24th, 2025.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 20-70 UPDATED Lock 13 Closure Notice

    Update to navigation notice SWL 25-68. Mariners are advised that the partial lock closure at James W. Trimble Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8 has been extended through October 25th, 2025.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 25-69 Caution Advisory MPLD DS Approach

    Mariners are advised that significant shoaling has occurred in the downstream approach at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5). Crews are onsite performing dredging and clamming operations, and the contract dredge is scheduled to arrive next week. A subsequent navigation notice will be issued once the shoaling has been cleared.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice 25-68 UPDATE: SCHEDULED LOCK 13 CLOSURE NOTICE

    Mariners are advised that the partial lock closure at James W. Trimble Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8 has been extended through October 18th, 2025. During this time, the Lock will be closed daily (Monday thru Saturday) between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The lock will be opened to traffic each night between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., and all day on Sundays, however a 70-ft width restriction will be in place.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice 25-67 MPLD Nav Pass Closed

    Due to falling river elevations, the crest gate dam at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) is in operation and the navigation pass is closed. All vessels are required to pass through the lock until further notice.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 25-66 Lock 8 Tow Haulage Return to Service

    The tow haulage equipment at Toad Suck Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9 has returned to service.
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 25-65 Caution Advisory NM 291.6 I-49 Bridge

    Mariners are advised that work/crane barges will be positioned outside the left descending navigation channel beginning on or around September 17, 2025, for the start of construction of the Interstate-49 Bridge at NM 291.6 just downstream of James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13).
  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 25-64 Sailing Instructions NM 237.1 to 238.1

    Due to shoaling, mariners are advised that until further notice, both upbound and downbound tows should favor the red buoys from NM 237.1 to 238.1.
  • Youth deer hunt announced for Millwood Tri-Lakes

    -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Millwood Tri-Lakes Project Office is accepting applications for a special youth deer hunt at Millwood Lake Nov. 1-2, 2025.
