INTERMITTENT DELAYS
CLINTON PRESIDENTIAL PARK BRIDGE NM 118.2
MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Mariners may experience intermittent delays at the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge (NM 118.2). These delays are necessary to facilitate the reconstruction of an upstream bridge pier protection cell. The contractor is expected to begin mobilizing equipment this week with construction beginning in roughly 10 days. The project is expected to take up to six months to complete.

During construction, the navigation channel will be reduced from 318.5 feet to approximately 298.5 feet wide. Work barges and boats will be operating in or near the channel; mariners should exercise caution when transiting the area.

At the request of marine traffic, the contractor can assist tow boats through the Clinton Presidential Park bridge channel with their 800 hp tow boat, M/V Ray Pensrum. The contractor can be reached on channels 14 and 68.

Questions or requests for additional information concerning this notice should be directed to the Little Rock District Office, at (501) 324-5096 or you may email CESWL-OP-OM@usace.army.mil.
