  • BOUNDARY LINE MAINTENANCE TO BE CONDUCTED ON BEAVER LAKE

    The Army Corps of Engineers is advising landowners adjacent to public lands on Beaver Lake that maintenance crews will soon conduct boundary line maintenance along the east bank of the White River Arm beginning at Blue Springs, working south towards Goshen. They will also be working the middle lake areas of Rivercliff, Shaddox Hollow, Coppermine, and Rambo.

    Little Rock - To ensure the safety of life and property during the Riverfest fireworks display in Little Rock, AR, a safety zone will be established by the Coast Guard for the Arkansas River from mile marker 118.8 to mile marker 119.5. The safety zone will be in effect from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on 25 May 2014.

    One lane of Highway 165/265 between Table Rock Lake’s dam and spillway will be closed from 7 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. May 28 through May 29 to conduct a bridge inspection.

    The Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District began a spillway release from Norfork Dam today while the siphon used for minimum flow releases is out of service.
  • CORPS TO CLOSE BIGELOW PARK AFTER ORGANIZATION ASKS FOR LEASE MODIFICATION

    The Army Corps of Engineers, Russellville Project Office and the Arkansas Wildlife Federation will close Bigelow Park May 19 because of lack of volunteers and funding. The day-use area and boat launch ramp have been operated and maintained by federation volunteers under a lease agreement with the Corps since 2012.

  • Corps to Asphalt the Road and Boat Launching Ramp at Norfork Lake’s Udall Park

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers’ Mountain Home Project Office is advising the public that road crews will be laying new asphalt in Udall Park Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 16. While work is underway roads and the boat launching ramp, access will be periodically interrupted.
