  • MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-55 Lock 10 Intermittent Delays

    Mariners should expect to experience intermittent delays at Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 on July 17 and July 18, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-54 USCG Advisory Van Buren Railroad Bridge NM 300.8 Update

    Mariners are advised that the rehabilitation work on the Van Buren Railroad Drawbridge (NM 300.8), as stated in Nav Notice 24-07, is scheduled to begin on August 22, 2024 at 6 a.m. and last until September 9, 2024 at 6 a.m.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-53 Lock 7 Intermittent Delays

    Mariners should expect to experience intermittent delays at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 on July 11, 2024 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The intermittent delays are required to facilitate repairs to the hydraulic system.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-52 USCG Advisory Van Buren Railroad Bridge NM 300.8

    Mariners are advised that the rehabilitation work on the Van Buren Railroad Drawbridge (NM 300.8), as stated in Nav Notice 24-07, is scheduled to begin on August 22, 2024 at 5 a.m. and last until September 8, 2024 at 5 p.m.

  • Temporary lane closures of Highway 25 across Greers Ferry Dam

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be closing one lane of the Highway 25 bridge across Greers Ferry Dam from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on, July 17 and 25, 2024, for routine maintenance.

  • USACE to restrict alcohol use at Dam Site North Park

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Beaver Lake Project Office will begin prohibiting alcohol at Dam Site North Park in Carroll County, beginning May 13, 2024.

  • Temporary full road closure of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduling a full road closure for Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam from 6:30 a.m. April 23 until 5 p.m. April 25, 2024, to deploy and remove equipment used to perform maintenance on the dam.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice No. SWL 24-20 Lock 7 Intermittent Delays

    Mariners should expect to experience intermittent delays at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 beginning March 18 through March 21, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily. The intermittent delays are required to facilitate an underwater dive inspection of the Lock chamber.

  • MKARNS Annual Navigation Notice No. 1-2024

    As a result of partnering efforts with navigation stakeholders, the attached consolidated Notice to Navigation Interests has been prepared for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System (MKARNS). The intent is to provide consistency by reviewing and informing current district regulations with a joint notice that will be updated annually. The notice is applicable to the Little Rock (SWL) and Tulsa (SWT) Districts.

  • NAVIGATION NOTICE: SWL 23-56 - McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System

    Mariners are advised that crews will be placing rip rap around the Van Buren Railroad Bridge (NM 300.8).  Work will be performed daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., September 25 through October 4, 2023.  Mariners may contact the onsite workboat, M/V Pine Bluff, on VHF-FM channel 16 or 78 or by phone at (318) 452-5448.  Mariners are advised to transit the area with caution.
