    ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 178 ACROSS BULL SHOALS DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – One lane of Highway 178 bridge across Bull Shoals Dam will be closed for a periodic bridge inspection from 7:30 a.m. till 5 p.m. Aug. 9, weather permitting.

    MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 17-37 Dike Construction Complete NM 224

    MKARNS - The Army Corps of Engineers vessel M/V Gene Crump and its crane barge have completed the placement of additional rock in the NM 224 area.). Rock dikes are located on the right bank behind the green line at NM 224.4, 224.5 and 224.6. It is very important that upbound tows are aware of these new structures while transiting this area.

    BRANSON, Mo. -- The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will hold three workshops July 31 through Aug. 2 in Branson, Shell Knob and Reeds Spring, Mo. to discuss and seek input on the draft Table Rock Lake Shoreline Management Plan. All interested persons are invited.

    MKARNS - A Military Exercise “Restricted Zone” will close the Arkansas River (NM 289.0 to NM 292.8-Trimble Lock and Dam) to all traffic from 4:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on July 26.

    CORPS TO CEASE POWER GENERATION AT TABLE ROCK DAM TO ALLOW FOR VEHICLES TO BE REMOVED FROM LAKE TANEYCOMO

    BRANSON, Mo. – At the request of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources the Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will cease power generation through Table Rock Dam from 6 a.m. until noon July 14 and 15 to help facilitate the removal of vehicles swept into Lake Taneycomo during the June flooding event.

    CORPS REMINDS RESIDENTS THAT HIGHWAY 32 ACROSS MILLWOOD DAM TO CLOSE JULY 16 FOR INSPECTION

    ASHDOWN, Ark. – Corps of Engineers personnel reminds residents that Highway 32 across Millwood Lake will close at 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, July 16 while the sluice gate conduits at the base of the spillway are inspected. During the inspection, a crane and other heavy equipment will block the bridge across the spillway.

    CORPS LIFTS SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR ARKANSAS RIVER

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers has lifted the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. Even though flows have receded below that threshold, Corps officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.
