If you would like to be placed on a mailing list to receive copies of public notices, please contact the Regulatory Branch, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, P. O. Box 867, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-0867, call (501)324-5295, or send an email to and include your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number and indicate which counties in Arkansas or Missouri you would like to receive public notices.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the US Army Corps of Engineers - Little Rock District (SWL), has requested authorization for a new dredged material disposal area on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System (MKARNS). The proposed project is located in the Arkansas River near the Little Rock Port on the right descending bank at Navigation Mile (NM) 111.0, in Pulaski County, Arkansas.

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Brian Verkamp, Arkhola Sand and Gravel Company, 1010 Frontier Road, Barling, Arkansas 72923, has requested an extension of an existing sand and gravel dredging permit. The operation is located both in and out of the navigation channel on the Arkansas River between Navigation Miles 293.3 and 308.5, near Fort Smith, in Crawford County, Arkansas.
