    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2261, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with constructing the final segment of the Searcy Bypass. The other two segments of the bypass, one south and one east of the proposed segment, are currently under construction. This segment would cross seven streams and one wetland area. The proposed project is located on the northwest side of Searcy and would connect State Highway 16 and State Highway 36, in sections 31, 32, and 33, T. 8 N., R. 7 W., and in sections 4, 5, 6, and 7, T. 7 N., R. 7 W., White County, Arkansas. The basic purpose of the project is to construct a connector between Highway 16 and Highway 36. The overall purpose of the project is to relieve congestion in Searcy by allowing traffic to avoid Race Street and Beebe Capps Expressway, and allow drivers traveling from the north and drivers traveling from U.S. Highway 67/167 to bypass traffic in downtown Searcy. The project would also provide traffic on the west side of Searcy better access to U.S. Highway 67/167. The project is not water dependent.

    The five U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Districts in the State of Missouri (Kansas City, Little Rock, Memphis, Rock Island, and St. Louis Districts) are proposing to adopt the MWAM for determining mitigation requirements for impacts to jurisdictional wetlands in the State of Missouri. The MWAM was developed in response to state and Federal resource agency requests for Corps implementation of a standard tool for the assessment of wetland impacts and mitigation actions to be used in all Corps Districts in the State of Missouri. The MWAM, if adopted, will be the primary tool used for the evaluation of wetland impacts and mitigation proposals for Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 USC 1344) Department of the Army permit evaluations within the State of Missouri.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Greene County Highway Department, 2065 North Clifton Avenue, Springfield, Missouri 65803, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with proposed roadway and drainage improvements to West Republic Road between Golden Avenue and Highway FF. The proposed project is located in an unnamed tributary to Wilson Creek, in sections 8, 9, and 17, T. 28 N., R. 22 W., Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. The basic purpose of the project is to improve a roadway and drainage facilities. The overall purpose of the project is to safely accommodate increased traffic volumes and to alleviate flooding of the roadway and adjoining properties along this section of West Republic Road.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that, Mr. Chad Cox, Echo Matrix, LLC, PO Box 1860, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the construction of a public use terminal building, taxiway, and parking lot for the Bentonville Municipal Airport. The building would include a restaurant, with an adjacent dock. The proposed project is located in an unnamed ephemeral stream, which flows into Lake Bentonville, and in two associated wetlands in a portion of section 6, T. 19 N., R. 30 W., Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas. The basic purpose of the project is to provide a public use terminal for airport operations. The overall purpose of the project is to provide a 40,000-square-foot parking area and a 60,000-square-foot area that includes the facility and taxiway for Bentonville Municipal Airport.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2261, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with replacing the bridges and upgrading the approaches over Flat Creek, Cabin Creek and Sugar Creek, beginning approximately one mile east of Hardy. The proposed project is located on U.S. Highway 63 in section 12, T. 19 N., R. 5 W., and in sections 17 and 18, T. 19 N., R. 4 W., Sharp County, Arkansas. The basic purpose of the project is to replace three structurally deficient bridges. The overall purpose of the project is to upgrade the roadway and make it safer for motor vehicle traffic on U.S. Highway 63.
