    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Company has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with continuation of their commercial sand and gravel dredging operations. The current permitted removal limits are located on the Arkansas River between Navigation Miles 93.9 and 87.4, between Navigation Miles 85.5 and 66.6, and in Lake Langhofer from Pine Bluff Harbor miles 0.0 to 7.5. These areas are in Jefferson and Pulaski Counties, Arkansas.

    In accordance with Title 33 CFR 325.2 and 325.7(e), as published in the November 13, 1986, Federal Register, the Kansas City District, U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers (as lead district), in conjunction with the St. Louis District, Rock Island District, Little Rock District, and Memphis District (map enclosed) proposes to reissue General Permit 34 Missouri (GP-34M, GP) which would authorize the discharge of dredged or fill material in association with excavation of sand and gravel in waters of the United States within the State of Missouri. This GP would be reissued under the authority of Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 USC 1344) and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 USC 403). The GP was originally issued December 18, 1995, with a renewal occurring every five years, and most recently reissued on July 28, 2016. In the preceding 5-year period, there were a total of 51 actions authorized under the provisions of this GP in the Kansas City District and a total of 78 actions by all Districts.

    Expiration date: 4/29/2013

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the City of Bentonville, 305 SW A Street, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with the construction of a concrete-lined stream channel and the replacement of four bridges. The concrete-lined channel would be 2,525 feet in length. To construct the concrete-lined channel, approximately 6,000 cubic yards of material would be excavated from the existing stream. Approximately 530 cubic yards of material would be placed in the channel and in an adjacent 0.1-acre wetland. The existing four bridges would be replaced with four 32-foot-wide by 40-inch-tall precast concrete culverts. The proposed project is located in an unnamed tributary to Little Osage Creek, in sections 31 and 32, T. 19 N., R. 30 W., Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas.

    Pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S. Code 403), notice is hereby given that Ronnie Duffield Gravel Company,16 Bluff Drive, Russellville, Arkansas 72802-7866,has requested a time extension of their existing permit to remove sand, gravel, and soil from dike fields along the Arkansas River. The proposed project is located on the left descending bank of the Arkansas River from Navigation Mile 200.0 to Navigation Mile 201.3, in section 3, T. 6 N., R. 20 W., in Pope County, Arkansas.
