Where Can I Hunt at Blue Mountain Lake?

The mixed pine and hardwood forests around the lake provide habitat for many native wildlife species. In-season hunting is permitted except in the parks, administration area, and dam area.  Please reference the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission Blue Mountain Lake WMA regulations. (See Lake Map)

In addition, the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission operates the J. Perry Mikles Special Use Area on the west end of the lake. This first-class bird dog field trial facility attracts enthusiasts from around the nation. Anyone may use the facilities to train their dogs.
