Little Rock, Ark - To ensure the safety of life and property on the navigable waters during demolition of the Broadway Bridge, the U.S. Coast Guard is establishing a safety zone on the Arkansas River from mile marker 118.6 to mile marker 119.6.

MKARNS - Mariners are advised that lockages at Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5, will require an additional 15 minutes each time the lock level is lowered to the downstream water level.

MKARNS - Mariners are advised that Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5 will be closed to navigation traffic July 20 through July 23 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

MKARNS - Lockages at Toad Suck Ferry Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9 have returned to normal operation. The failed hydraulic system has been repaired and returned to service.

MKARNS - Mariners are advised that longer than normal lockage times can be expected at Toad Suck Ferry Lock (No. 8) NM 155.9. One of the two hydraulic systems has failed. The length of downtime is unknown at this time.
