  • NAV NOTICE SWL 13-11 REVISION TO SAILING INSTRUCTIONS

    MKARNS - The completion date has been extended until May 1 for construction on the new waste treatment plant downstream of Toad Suck Ferry L&D (Lock 8). Mariners should continue to use caution, transit along the green line and not moor on the left descending bank between NM 153.0 and NM 154.5.

    MURRAY L&D - Tow haulage equipment at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 has been returned to service.

  • NAV NOTICE SWL 13-09 MKARNS - TOW HAULAGE OUT OF SERVICE

    MURRAY L&D - Tow haulage equipment at Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 is out of service. Double cut tows will have to be locked the conventional way (without the use of tow haulage).

    COL. C.D. MAYNARD L&D - Revision to Nav Notice SWL 13-05 - Tow haulage equipment at Colonel Charles D. Maynard Lock (No. 5) is out of service. Mariners should be advised that due to shallow water near the bank, northbound doubles are having difficulty maneuvering around barges tied to the downstream wall.

    Effective January 07, 2013, there will be a change to the scheduled daily maintenance closures at Ozark-Jeta Taylor Lock and Dam (No. 12) NM 256.8, James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13) NM 292.8, Webber Falls Lock and Dam (No. 16) NM 366.6, Chouteau Lock and Dam (No. 17) NM 401.4, and Newt Graham Lock and Dam (No. 18) NM 421.6.

  • NAV NOTICE SWL 13-02 - MKARNS - INTERMITTENT DELAYS POSSIBLE

    OZARK-JETA TAYLOR L&D - Mariners are advised that intermittent delays may be experienced at Ozark-Jeta Taylor Lock and Dam (No. 12) NM 256.8 on January 15, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is to replace the downstream land wall miter gate strut arm. There are no closures scheduled for this work.
