The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has issued a Broadcast Notice to Mariners (BNM) indicating that the Rob Roy drawbridge (NM 67.4) will be closed to navigation on November 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to conduct repairs. For additional information mariners may contact the on-site supervisor by phone at (573) 220-9817.
The USCG has advised that the following closures are also scheduled:
Dec 15-23: Two 2-hour closures per day
Dec 30-Jan 5: Two 2-hour closures per day
Jan 6-Jan 8: 48-hour closure from 7a.m. on Jan 6 to 7a.m. on Jan 8
Jan 8-Jan 12: Two 2-hour closures per day
Jan 13-Jan 21: Two 2-hour closures per day
The two hour closures will be from (10 a.m. to noon) & (3 p.m. to 5 p.m.). The contractor will be required to contact Lock & Dam 4, 15 minutes prior to each 2 hour closure. If a tow boat is in the process of locking through, the bridge closure will wait until the tow is through the area.
