  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-07 Lock 2 - Reopened

    MKARNS - Lock No. 2 (NM 13.3) has reopened to Navigation traffic. The lock was closed due to a projected backflow of the Arkansas Post Canal caused by the rising water elevation of the Mississippi River. The water elevations have now dropped to safe levels

  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-04 Lock 3 - Reopened

    MKARNS - Joe Hardin Lock (No. 3) NM 50.2 has reopened to Navigation traffic. The lock was closed due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The flows have now dropped to safe levels to operate the lock.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-05 Locks 5 and 6 - Reopened

    MKARNS - Colonel Charles D. Maynard Lock (No. 5) and David D. Terry Lock and Dam (No. 6) have reopened to Navigation traffic.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-06 Lock 9 - Reopened

    MKARNS - Arthur V. Ormond Lock (No. 9) NM 176.9 has reopened to Navigation traffic. The lock was closed due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The flows have now dropped to safe levels to operate the lock.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-03 Locks 4 and 7 - Reopened

    MKARNS - Emmett Sanders Lock (No. 4) NM 66.0 and Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4 have reopened to Navigation traffic.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-02 Lock 13 - Reopened

    MKARNS - The James W. Trimble Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8 has reopened to Navigation traffic. The lock was closed due to high flows on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System. The flows have now dropped to safe levels to operate the lock.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 16-01 Lock 2 - Closure

    MKARNS - Lock No. 2 (NM 13.3) will experience intermittent closures on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System on Tuesday, Jan. 5, lasting a few hours at a time. The lock will be closed to all navigation traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

  • MKARNS Nav Notice SWL 15-88 Lock 5 - Notice of Lock Closure

    MKARNS - The Colonel Charles D. Maynard Lock (No. 5) NM 86.3 is closed to traffic due to high flows. The lock will reopen as the flows drop to safe navigation levels.

    MKARNS - The Joe Hardin Lock (NM 50.2) is closed to traffic due to high flows. The lock will reopen as the flows drop to safe navigation levels.
