    PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pine Bluff Site Office is reopening Rising Star Park on Monday, Aug. 31.

    BRANSON, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has scheduled a full road closure from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sept. 16 through Sept. 17, and Sept. 22 through Sept. 23 for Hwy 165/265 over Table Rock Dam to facilitate the heavy equipment needed for the installation of an intake gate on the dam.

    MKARNS - David D. Terry Lock (No.6) NM 108.1 has reopened to navigation traffic.
  • Corps extends lane Corps extends closure of Highway 177 Bridge across Norfork Dam

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is extending the closure of the northbound lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Dam until December 2020, to continue performing maintenance on the spillway bridge.
  • Corps to temporarily close River Run East and West Parks

    ASHDOWN, Ark. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Millwood Tri-Lakes Project Office is temporarily closing access to the River Run East and West Recreation Areas at 8 a.m. Aug. 23 to make repairs to the Millwood Lake stilling basin. Depending on weather, the stilling basin work should be complete by mid October.

    MKARNS - The sailing instruction for the downstream approach to Joe Hardin Lock (No. 3) NM 50.2, as noted in Navigation Notice SWL 20-42 has been lifted.
  • Corps to begin Millwood Lake drawdown

    ASHDOWN, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will begin lowering Millwood Lake Wednesday, Aug. 19 to inspect shoreline erosion, provide bank stabilization, and make minor repairs to the boat ramp at Beards Bluff.
  • Corps to open more parks on Norfork and Bull Shoals Lakes

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. –The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office will open more parks on Friday, Aug. 21 around Norfork and Bull Shoals lakes. Some parks never opened this summer and remained closed because of high water and operating procedures related to COVID-19.
  • David D. Terry Lock and Dam to close for maintenance

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduling a lock closure at David D. Terry Lock & Dam on the Arkansas River from 6 a.m. Aug. 19 until 6 p.m. Aug. 29, so workers can perform required tests on critical components of the lock.
