    HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – The Josh Park Memorial Trail will be closed from Nov. 5, 2012, to March 1, 2013, while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers enhances the popular trail for users. Improvements will include selective thinning of nearby pine stands.

    MONTGOMERY POINT L&D - Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (NM 0.5) is scheduled to be closed to Navigation traffic from 1 a.m. on November 26 through 11 p.m. on December 16, 2012. The lock is scheduled to be closed during this timeframe for dewatering to make repairs to the land wall miter gates.

    BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers Table Rock Lake Project Office will undergo renovations from Oct. 26 through Dec. 28.

  • CORPS INITIATES PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District will implement a new program of daily preventive maintenance at two Arkansas locks on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System.
  • HIGHWAY ACROSS TABLE ROCK DAM REDUCED TO ONE LANE WEEKDAYS

    BRANSON, Mo. – Highway 165/265 between Table Rock Lake’s dam and spillway will be reduced to one lane weekdays beginning Wednesday, Sept. 26 and ending on Monday, Nov. 5 to repair and seal the road surface across the dam. The lane will be reopened at 4:30 p.m. each Friday and will close each Monday at 7 a.m. until the repairs are completed.
  • SEPTEMBER 16 MARKS END OF SUMMER FOR SEVERAL PARKS WHILE MANY OTHERS REMAIN OPEN

    BRANSON, Mo. -- As fall approaches the summer recreation season comes to an end. The Corps of Engineers Table Rock Project Office will close seven parks for the winter recreation season on Sept. 16. Parks that closing are: Aunts Creek, Baxter, Big M, Eagle Rock, Long Creek, Viola, and Viney Creek.
