Fish Cover Permits Available (Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering a limited number of Fish Structure Enhancement Type “B” Permits for Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes.

USACE postpones temporary lane closures of Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam and Highway 177 across Norfork Dam until further notice

Lane closures scheduled for the Highway 178 bridge across Bull Shoals Dam on August 25th, and the Highway 177 bridge across Norfork Dam on August 26th have been postponed until further notice.

USACE conducts boundary line maintenance on Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mountain Home Project Office is advising landowners adjacent to public lands around Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes that contract maintenance crews are in the process of conducting boundary line maintenance.

CORPS BEGINS RELEASES THROUGH SPILLWAY AT NORFORK DAM

ONE LANE OF HIGHWAY 177 ACROSS NORFORK DAM TO TEMPORILY CLOSE FOR DAM MAINTENANCE

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – One lane of Highway 177 across Norfork Lake will be closed at 6:30 a.m. each Monday and remain closed until 6 p.m. each Thursday except federal holidays beginning Monday, June 24 for about 180 days to conduct maintenance on the dam’s tainter gates. Both lanes will be open Friday thru Sunday.
