MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers’ Mountain Home Project Office is advising the public that Quarry Park boat launch ramp on the Norfork River is closed for repairs.

The ground under the ramp is eroding making it unsafe for vehicle traffic.  Walk-in use of the area is still permitted.   Until the Quarry ramp is repaired and reopened, boaters are asked to use alternate launch ramps near the town of Norfork, Ark.

Mountain Home Project Office staff regrets any inconvenience this may cause and is working to quickly identify the cause of the erosion and make repairs.
