Mountain Home, Ark. -- As a result of budget constraints the Army Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office will defer all new requests for shoreline use from May 1, until Oct. 1. Written requests or applications will not be accepted during the deferral period.

Shoreline use requests include fire protection (mowing/under brushing) and footpath permits, private or community boat dock requests and requests for modification to an existing boat dock. Permit holders are reminded that the terms and conditions of their permits will still be enforced and all zoning criteria and shoreline management regulations remain in effect.
