Little Rock District to extend the public comment period for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System Master Plan revision

Little Rock, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District is again extending the scoping comment period for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System’s Master Plan revision. Comments will now be accepted until Aug. 27.

USACE lifts small craft advisory for Arkansas River

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is lifting the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Small craft advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. While flows have receded, USACE officials urge boaters to always use caution when on the river.

USACE reschedules temporary lane closure of Highway 25 across Greers Ferry Dam

HEBER SPRINGS, Ark. – One lane of the Highway 25 bridge across Greers Ferry Dam will close from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. July 27 to conduct a routine bridge inspection.
