    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. –USACE is reminding everyone that it is against the law to remove artifacts from public lands surrounding Norfork and Bull Shoals Lakes.

    USACE lifts small craft advisory for Arkansas River

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is lifting the small craft advisory for the Arkansas River. Small craft advisories are issued when flows reach 70,000 cubic feet per second. While flows have receded, USACE officials urge boaters to always exercise caution when on the river.

    USACE to host public meeting on Illinois River Flood Study

    SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - The U.S Army Corps of Engineers in cooperation with the Cherokee Nation and Grand River Dam Authority will host a public meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on April 11 at the First Baptist Church, located at 2000 Dawn Hill Road, Siloam Springs, AR to discuss the findings of the Illinois River Flood Study.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduling a full road closure for Highway 178 across Bull Shoals Dam from 6:30 a.m. April 10 until 5 p.m. April 11 to deploy and remove equipment used to perform maintenance on the dam’s sluice gates.

    USACE to conduct boundary line maintenance on Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes

    MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is advising landowners adjacent to public lands around Bull Shoals and Norfork Lakes that contract maintenance crews will be conducting boundary line maintenance along a 170-mile section of government boundary at Bull Shoals Lake and a 90-mile section at Norfork Lake.
