    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Department of Transportation, PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2261, has requested authorization for work, including the placement of dredged and fill material, in waters of the United States associated with constructing a four-lane divided roadway connecting U.S. Highway 278 east of Monticello to U.S. Highway 65 north of McGehee (ArDOT Job No. 020678). The project is part of the future Interstate 69. The proposed project will impact several streams and adjacent wetlands in sections 13, 23 and 24, T. 12 S., R. 6 W., sections 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, T. 12 S., R. 5 W., sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, T. 12 S., R. 4 W., and sections 7, 8 and 9, T. 12 S., R. 3 W., Drew and Desha Counties, Arkansas. The project purpose is to construct a portion of I-69 which will improve efficiency for the movement of goods, improve economic development in the Mississippi Delta and improve transportation linkages in areas of the United States that were overlooked in the original interstate system. The proposed project is approximately 17 miles in length, will consist of four lanes and will be constructed on new location. The project would initially construct two 12-foot-wide travel lanes with 8-foot-wide inside shoulders and 10-foot-wide outside shoulders. The remaining two lanes would be constructed as funding becomes available. This permit review will evaluate the impacts for the four-lane project as well as the proposed wetland and stream mitigation for all impacts.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Mr. Dan Christensen Central Arkansas Recycling & Disposal Services, LLC 4208 Johnson Road Springdale, Arkansas 72762 has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with expansion of an existing landfill. The proposed project is located in tributaries of and wetlands associated with Fish Creek, in sections 2 and 3, T. 1 S., R. 12 W., south of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Department of Transportation, PO Box 2261, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203-2261, has requested authorization for work, including the placement of dredged and fill material, in waters of the United States associated with constructing a new highway bypass that will traverse the South, East and West sides of the City of Arkadelphia. The project will provide an alternate route to reduce the number of logging and other large trucks traveling through the Central Business District, a safer east-west travel route for both local and through traffic, and Interstate 30/State Highway 51 interchange modifications to reduce traffic congestion and increase emergency vehicle access to and from the Baptist Hospital.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT), 601 West Main Street, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101, has requested authorization for the discharge of fill material in waters of the United States associated with the Phase 1B upgrade of U.S. Route 67 (R67) to create Interstate 57 (I-57). The proposed project will discharge fill material below the Ordinary High Water Mark (OHWM) of approximately 0.90 acres of one (1) open water pond, approximately 1.98 acres of two (2) wetland complexes, and convert approximately 689 linear feet of three (3) channelized streams into piped streams along R67 that flow into the Little Black River.

    Pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S. Code 1344), notice is hereby given that Brad Baldwin PE, GISP, CFM, City of Springdale, 201 Spring Street, Springdale, Arkansas 72764, has requested authorization for the placement of dredged and fill material in waters of the United States associated with construction of a 14-acre detention pond at the City of Springdale airport. The proposed project is located in Spring Creek, unnamed tributaries of Spring Creek and emergent wetlands, in section 31, T. 18 N., R. 29 W., Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. The project purpose is to construct an approximately 14-acre stormwater detention basin in an unnamed tributary of Spring Creek.
