May 2024 Beaver Lake Storm Damage Shoreline FAQ’s

***For anyone who cannot access the internet at this time, please call 501-340-1710 to discuss Storm Damaged Docks and Hazard Tree requests. ***

Q1. What if my dock was damaged in the storm?

  • Repairs that do not deviate from the approved plans should take place as soon as possible and do not require prior authorization.

Q2. What if my dock is a total loss and I want to replace it with what was previously approved?

Q3. What if my dock is a total loss and I want to replace it with something that deviates from what is on my currently approved dock plans?

  • Submit an online request for a dock replacement.  Those wanting to replace their dock with something other than what was previously authorized, should place a request for a replacement dock and will need to wait for the request to be worked.  These requests will not be prioritized over other requests or replacements.

Q4. What do I do if I have a hazard tree that may potentially damage my property or dock, or a tree has fallen across my permitted path?

Q5. What should I do with my damaged dock or parts?

  • Debris from damaged docks will be removed either on foot across public lands or by way of water to the nearest boat ramp or dock build site.  If you have damage that requires mechanical assistance to remove from the area by land, please contact 501-340-1710 for authorization.
