 Jardis Point   (Day Use Only)

Description: This park is open year round and has picnic sites, a basketball court, restrooms and bank fishing access downstream from the powerhouse and dam.

Location:  Jardis Point Park is located 15 miles south of Gillett and 18 miles north of Dumas, Arkansas. Take US Hwy 165 to State Hwy 212.

 Little Bayou Meto  (River Access Only)

Description: This park serves as a river access only. There is a boat launch ramp.

Location:  This park is just outside Reydell which can be reached via State Hwys 11 or 88.

 Moore Bayou

Description: The park is open year round with a boat launch ramp, picnic tables and a vault toilet. It is the access point for the 5 mile long Arkansas Post water trail, which is a cooperative boat trail with the Army Corps of Engineers, Arkansas Game and Fish, National Park Service and Arkansas Canoe Club.

Location: Located 9 miles south of Gillett, Arkansas. Accessed by State Hwy 169 via US Hwy 165.

 Notrebes Bend

Description: Class A park with flush toilets, trailer dump station, trash dumpster, drinking water and boat ramp.

Location: Notrebes Bend Park is located on the left descending bank of the Arkansas River just downstream from Wilbur D. Mills Dam. The area is 35 miles south of DeWitt and accessible by taking U.S. Hwy 165 to Arkansas State Hwy 44, then south 14 miles on Tichnor Blacktop from Tichnor, Arkansas.

Facilities: 30 campsites, all with water and 20/30/50 amp electricity.

Fees: Campsites are $19. Non-campers wishing to use boat ramp are subject to a $5 day use fee.

Open: Fee season March 1 - October 31.

 Pendleton Bend

Description: Class A park with flush toilets, showers, trailer dump station, trash dumpster, drinking water, boat ramp, playground and picnic sites.

Location: Pendleton Bend Park is located 12 miles south of Gillett and 15 miles north of Dumas, Arkansas along the right descending bank of the Arkansas River at navigation mile 21.0. Take U.S. Hwy 165 to Arkansas State Hwy 212.

Facilities: 31 campsites. 13 campsites with 20/30 amp electricity and 18 with 20/30/50 amp. 1 picnic shelter.

Fees: Campsites with 30 amp electricity are $16, unless they are in “prime” locations which are $18. Campsites with 50 amp electricity are $19. Picnic shelter is $40. Non-campers wishing to use the boat ramp are subject to a $5 day use fee.

 Wilbur D. Mills

Description: Class A park with flush toilets, showers, trailer dump station, trash dumpsters, drinking water and boat ramp.

Location: Wilbur D. Mills Park is located 15 miles south of Gillett and 18 miles north of Dumas, Arkansas along the right descending bank of the Arkansas River one mile downstream from Wilbur D. Mills Dam. The park can be accessed by taking U.S. Hwy 165 to Arkansas State Hwy 212.

Facilities: 21 campsites, all with 20/30 amp power and water.

Fees: Campsite are $16. Non-campers wishing to use the boat ramp are subject to a $5 day use fee. All fees are collected at the Pendelton Bend Campground gate house located 3 miles before reaching Wilbur D. Mills campground.

Open: Fee season March 1 - October 31.

 Wild Goose Bayou (River Access Only)

Location: The park is open year round. The park has a boat launch.

Description:  Accessed by State Hwy 44 via US Hwy 165 then south on Tichnor Blacktop to Wild Goose lane.

 

Big Bayou Meto (River Access Only)

Description: This park serves as river access only. There is a boat launch.

Location: Take State Hwy 144 via US Hwy 165. The river access is 6 miles south of Gillett, Arkansas.

 

 

Merrisach

Description: Class A park with flush toilets, showers, trailer dump station, trash dumpsters, drinking water, picnic shelters, picnic sites and playground.

Location: Merrisach Lake is located on the north bank of the Arkansas Post Canal, 30 miles from DeWitt, Arkansas and is accessible from Arkansas State Hwy 44 via U.S. Hwy 165, then south 8 miles on Tichnor Blacktop from Tichnor, Arkansas.

Facilities: 67 campsites. 5 campsites without electricity, 43 with 20/30 amp power and 19 with 20/30/50 amp power. 2 picnic shelters.

Fees: Campsites without electricity are $12. Campsites with 30 amp electricity are $16, unless they are in “prime” locations which are $18 , and 50 amp sites are $19. Two picnic shelters at $40-$30. Non-campers who wish to use the boat ramp are subject to a $5 day use fee.
