PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Enjoy the outdoors?  Looking for a quiet place to RV this summer?  Officials from the Army Corps of Engineers, Pine Bluff Site Office and Arkansas Post Field Office, are looking for volunteers to help take care of Pendleton Bend, Wilbur D. Mills, Notrebes Bend and Tar Camp parks.

Volunteer park attendant positions are available now through Oct. 31.  Volunteers will work as a park host four hours per day for four days a week.  In return they will be provided a free campsite that includes electric, water, and sewer hookups. Volunteers who work 250 hours or more at federal recreation sites also earn a free annual pass.

Volunteers would be assisting park visitors, helping with park cleaning, as well as maintenance work to include carpentry and painting.

These positions offer good experience for those who would like to bid on future paid park attendant contracts.
