LOCK REOPENED

LOCK NO. 2 (NM 13.3)

MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Lock No. 2 (NM 13.3) has reopened to Navigation traffic.  The lock was closed due to a projected backflow of the Arkansas Post Canal caused by the rising water elevation of the Mississippi River.  The water elevations have now dropped to safe levels.
