Tulsa and Little Rock Districts are scheduling maintenance closures of the following locks for the dates and actions listed below.
Lock 2014 Closure Dates Reason
Newt Graham L&D (No.18) May 12 – 20 Replace hydraulic piping
Ozark-Jeta Taylor L&D (No.12) May 12 – 20* Repair miter gates
W. D. Mayo L&D (No.14) Aug 25 - Sep 14 Replace miter gate pintle balls
*Ozark-Jeta Taylor L&D closure is from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for the dates shown; the lock will be available for use outside of those hours.
Intermittent closures, lasting a few hours at a time, will occur in the week preceding each of the above closures as maintenance crews prepare the work sites.
