MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers’ Mountain Home Project Office has reopened the Quarry Park boat launch ramp on the North Fork River.

The ramp was closed yesterday because of ground erosion under the ramp which made it unsafe for vehicle traffic.  After a closer examination by Corps officials the erosion was found to be minor and a temporary repair was made to the ramp. Permanent repairs will be made as soon as weather conditions permit.

The Mountain Home Project Office staff regrets any inconvenience this has caused.
