NAV Notice SWL 13-46 & TD 2103-18 MKARNS Suspension Rec Vessel Closures

The recreational vessel lock closures are temporarily suspended until further notice.  These closures normally occur Monday through Thursday to support maintenance activity. 

Due to the absence of appropriations our maintenance staff is furloughed until further notice and will not be on site at each lock.  If maintenance staff is recalled to perform critical repairs, the closures may be reinstated.

During the shutdown Corps employees will not be available to issue further navigation notices.  Mariners are advised to contact each lock for navigation questions.
