The following daily lock closures will be temporarily suspended for the Big Bass Bonanza fishing tournament along the Arkansas section of the Arkansas River:
The daily lock closure for maintenance at James W. Trimble Lock and Dam (No. 13) NM 292.8 and Ozark-Jeta Taylor Lock and Dam (No.12) NM 256.8 will be suspended June 24 through June 30, 2013. The daily lock closures for maintenance will resume on July 1, 2013.
In addition, the Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. recreational vessel lock closure for maintenance will be suspended June 24 through June 27, 2013 at the following locks. The closures will resume on July 1, 2013.
Dardanelle Lock and Dam (No. 10) NM 205.5
Arthur V. Ormond (No. 9) NM 176.9
Toad Suck Ferry (No. 8) NM 155.9
Murray Lock (No. 7) NM 125.4
David D. Terry Lock and Dam (No. 6) NM 108.1
Colonel Charles D. Maynard Lock (No. 5) NM 86.3
Emmett Sanders Lock (No. 4) NM 66.0
Joe Hardin Lock (No. 3) NM 50.2.
The recreational vessel lock closures for maintenance at Lock 2 NM 13.3 and Norrell Lock and Dam (No. 1) NM 10.3 will remain in effect during this time. The navigation pass at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam NM 0.5 is open.
