JAMES W. TRIMBLE LOCK (No. 13) NM 292.8
MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM
Update to navigation notice SWL 25-68. Mariners are advised that the partial lock closure at James W. Trimble Lock (No. 13) NM 292.8 has been extended through October 25th, 2025. During this time, the Lock will be closed daily (Monday thru Saturday) between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The lock will be opened to traffic each night between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., and all day on Sundays, however a 70-ft width restriction will be in place. The 70-ft width restriction will end October 18th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
This lock closure extension is to allow construction crews to continue critical activities regarding the new 110-ft stoplog slots near the upstream and downstream miter gates.
