USACE seeking volunteers for DeQueen Lake shoreline cleanup

DEQUEEN, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking volunteers to pitch in from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 11, 2025, for a shoreline cleanup event at DeQueen Lake.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Oak Grove Boat Ramp. Gloves and trash bags will be provided.

USACE encourages volunteers to bring trash grabbers, bug spray, sunscreen and life jackets. Bagged trash collected from the shoreline clean up can be placed at boat ramps to be picked up.

Lunch will be provided at 12 p.m. and Day Use fees will be waived for those participating the day of the event.
