BRANSON, Mo. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will begin spillway releases from Table Rock Dam around 10:30 a.m. June 9, 2025, to evacuate flood storage from recent rainfall.

USACE will open five of the twelve gates at one foot each releasing around 6,500 cubic feet per second from the spillway as well as 9,000 c.f.s from the two power generation turbines for a total combined release of around 15,500 c.f.s.

This is considered a typical release when Table Rock Dam is evacuating flood storage. Engineers are using both the spillway gates and hydropower turbines to manage the inflow from recent rainfall events.

Table Rock Lake is one of six reservoirs operated by USACE engineers to reduce the amount of flooding in the White River Basin. The reservoirs at Beaver, Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Norfork, Clearwater and Greers Ferry lakes capture and hold upstream runoff during heavy rains. Without that storage, all that water would pour downriver at one time and add to flood crests already developing from rain falling downstream. Those flood crests would rise higher, spread over more land and cause significantly more damage and potential loss of life.

Daily lake information can be obtained at www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil or on the USACE Little Rock water level mobile which can be found in mobile App stores by searching, ‘USACE Little Rock.’
