RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Russellville Site Office will be closing multiple bridges at Bona Dea Park and Wildlife Sanctuary from 8 a.m. Oct. 7 to 6 p.m. Oct. 22, 2024, for repairs. These closures are necessary to ensure that crews can complete repairs to the bridge decking and have all bridges back open for use by Oct. 22, 2024.
The repairs do not include Prairie Creek Bridge, which requires more extensive work.
All trails will remain open during this time, but visitors should plan their routes carefully to avoid bridge closures. Officials at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regret any inconvenience this may cause and ask for the public’s cooperation until the work is complete. For more information, contact the Russellville Site Office at 501-340-1762.
