Swim Beach Closure

ROGERS, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Beaver Lake Project Office is closing the swim beach at Dam Site Lake Campground until further notice.

The temporary closure is the result of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by project office personnel.

USACE has posted signs indicating high bacteria levels at the swim beach. Park rangers will reopen the swim beach when test results indicate bacteria levels are within an acceptable range.

To check the status of other swim beaches at Beaver Lake contact the Beaver Lake Project Office at 479-636-1210 or visit https://www.swl.usace.army.mil/Home/swim-beaches/.
