HAVANA, Ark. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Blue Mountain Lake Field Office has reopened the swim beach at Waveland Park.
Two acceptable water samples are required by the Arkansas Department of Health prior to reopening a swim beach. The temporary closures were the result of higher than acceptable E. coli levels that were found during routine testing conducted by project office personnel.
For more information, please contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Blue Mountain Lake Field Office at 4679-272-4324, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
