USACE releases final revision of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System Master Plan & lifts shoreline use permit moratorium on Lake Dardanelle 

 

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is releasing the final revision of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System Master Plan and associated environmental assessment. 

The final revision of the MKARNS Master Plan and environmental assessment can be viewed online at www.swl.usace.army.mil/Missions/Planning/MKARNS-Master-Plan-Revision/

USACE will begin accepting shoreline use requests for Lake Dardanelle on July 31, 2023. Shoreline use requests were suspended beginning May 14, 2021, to establish a baseline for the lake while revising its then 44-year-old master plan.
