Due to forecasted thunderstorms, the I-30 Bridge(NM 118.5) demolition activities and related navigation channel blockage which was scheduled for January 18, has been postponed to January 19. Therefore, there will be two channel blockages on January 19. The blockages will occur within 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., for a duration of up to 30 minutes each. Currently there are no changes to the scheduled January 20 demolition activities and channel blockage. As indicated in Nav Notice 23-03, mariners are required to contact the M/V Bill O’Donley on channel 16 or 68 and be prepared to stop one half-mile upstream or downstream of the I-30 bridge. Mariners must follow all instructions given by members of the construction project or law enforcement.
