David D. Terry Lock (No. 6) will temporarily reopen to navigation traffic at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 7th for a period of 12 hours until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 8th. At 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 8th the lock will be closed for a period of 12 hours until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 8th to allow maintenance crews to finalize demobilization efforts. At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 8th the lock will permanently reopen to traffic. Please note that tow haulage will be out of service during the temporary reopening from 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 7th until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 8th. The lock has been closed to perform repairs to critical underwater components.
