As previously indicated in Navigation Notice SWL 20-60, Joe Hardin Lock (No. 3) will experience intermittent delays or will be closed to navigation traffic on the following dates for the actions listed below.
March 1st thru March 11th: Intermittent delays lasting up to three hours at a time will take place daily between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. for cleaning and preparation for the centerpost pull test.
March 12th at 6 a.m. thru March 20th at 6 p.m.: Full lock closure for centerpost pull test.
In the event the work is finished early, the lock will open back up and a revised Navigation Notice will be sent out.
