REVISION TO NAVIGATION NOTICE SWL 19-24
INTERMITTENT DELAYS
DARDANELLE LOCK AND DAM (NO. 10) NM 205.5
MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM
Concrete saw-cutting on Dardanelle’s lock walls has resumed, and should be complete by the end of September 2019. During this time mariners may experience intermittent delays of up to 12 hours, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. This saw-cutting is for new dewatering bulkhead slots near the upstream miter gates. This work had been scheduled for completion in June 2019, but was delayed due to high flows.
Mariners are asked to contact the lock via radio on Channel 16 or by phone (479) 890-4987, in advance of arrival, for current conditions.
Questions or requests for additional information concerning this notice should be directed to the Little Rock District Office, at (501) 324-5739, or you may email CESWL-OP-OM@usace.army.mil.
