CORPS INCREASES SPILLWAY RELEASE AT BEAVER LAKE

ROGERS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will increase the spillway gates opening to 2 feet on all seven gates by 5 p.m.
The spillway release of 15,800 cubic feet per second combined with 3,800 c.f.s. released through one turbine generator will have a combined release of about 19,600 c.f.s. Currently one hydropower unit is off-line for repairs.
