LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers is seeking bids for farming leases on six plots of public land around Blue Mountain Lake for hay production. The plots range in size from 32 acres to 83.4 acres and totals more than 325 acres. The leases are for a minimum of five years and could be extended for another five year lease.
The lands are open to public access and hunting and fishing in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, including posted regulations. Vehicle access by the public is restricted at some of these lease plots.
