ROGERS, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers thanks everyone who recently attended one of the Beaver Lake Master Plan and Shoreline Management Plan workshops and also those who submitted written comments.

All comments submitted by April 13, the end of the 30-day comment period, are currently being compiled and summarized by a contractor for us to consider in the plan’s update.  We hope to complete the updates this summer and we will host public workshops shortly thereafter.

We have posted some questions and answers for clarification about the draft shoreline management plan which we presented at the public workshops.   The answers may change based on comments received and management review before the plans become final.

The questions and answers are posted on our website, http://www.swl.usace.army.mil/Missions/Planning/Beaver-Lake-Master-Plan-and-Shoreline-Management-Plan/.

If you have any questions concerning shoreline requests of Beaver Lake, please contact Chief Ranger, Michael Hurley by calling 479-636-1210, ext. 1716.
