CORPS TO BEGIN SPILLWAY RELEASES AT BEAVER LAKE

ROGERS, Ark. – The Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will begin a spillway release from Beaver Dam next week.  

Spillway gates will be opened Tuesday releasing about 4,000 cubic feet per second.  Currently one hydropower unit is off-line for repairs and the other unit has been be taken off-line for maintenance.  This release is equal to about one hydropower unit operating for 24 hours.

Spillway releases will be intermittent and scheduled around the maintenance that is being performed.
