A Military Exercise “Restricted Zone” will close the Arkansas River (NM 289.0 to NM 292.8-Trimble Lock and Dam) to all traffic from 4:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on July 26. A military unit will be conducting a bridge crossing exercise.
No vessels may enter or remain within this Restricted Zone unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Lower Mississippi River. Mariners are advised to contact the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Lower Mississippi River on VHF-FM Channel 16 for further information.
