Nimrod Lake

Picnicking and Day Use

Picnicking facilities are available in all the parks at Nimrod Lake. Many are located near playgrounds and restrooms. Family gatherings, reunions, birthday parties, weddings, company picnics, etc. are held annually in our group picnic shelters.  The shelters are lighted and equipped with electricity, water, tables, and barbeque grills.  These shelters are located at River Road, Quarry Cove, Carden Point, Carter Cove, and Sunlight Bay parks.

Group picnic shelters are reservable through the National Recreation Reservation Service.
