Primitive Camping

Primitive Camping Area

Primitive camping is allowed at Nimrod Lake, but only in designated primitive camping areas.  There are nine designated primitive camping areas available for you to enjoy.  We ask that you fill out a Primitive Camping Permit and bring it to the Nimrod Lake Office before going camping.  You may camp for up to 14 days.  After that time, your permit will expire, but you can request an extention.
