ASHDOWN, Ark. - The Army Corps of Engineers, Millwood Tri-Lakes Project Office is temporarily closing the Okay Landing boat ramp because of low lake levels. The current lake levels are not high enough to safely launch boats and navigate around the Okay Landing ramp and access area.

The Corps began drawing down Millwood Lake July 18 to allow for bank stabilization work at Cottonshed Park.  The drawdown is scheduled to continue for the next three weeks.

Officials at the Army Corps of Engineers Millwood Tri-Lakes Project Office regret any inconveniences this may cause and ask the public to exercise caution while boating.

Corps rangers reminds all boaters to wear a lifejacket.  For more information contact the Millwood Project Office 870-898-3343
