Manpower and budget constraints will limit the Corps’ capacity to process permit requests. However, it will continue to process permits as resources become available.

In preparation of the Bull Shoals Lake shoreline management plan update, the project office will again stop accepting requests for permits on Bull Shoals Lake by close of business April 15, 2016. It is unknown at this time how long the SMP update process will take, it will be very similar to the master plan revision process.

The Corps will host public workshops from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 25, at Theodosia, Missouri, Jan. 27, at Forsyth, Missouri and Jan. 28, at Mountain Home, Arkansas to unveil the master plan and answer questions from the public.

Check the Little Rock District website for the latest information about the master plan at http://go.usa.gov/cZp8J. For information about recreation on Little Rock District waters, go to https://about.me/USACELittleRock.
