In December, the Little Rock District completed repair of two lock gates at Montgomery Point Lock and Dam in Desha County, Ark.  The gate hinge pins were damaged, and if not repaired, would have halted navigation at this critical entry point to the McClellan-Kerr Navigation System.  The lock was unwatered in December, and the gate mechanisms were repaired on two of the four gates.  High water and weather conditions prevented the team from repairing all four gates.
